Oh, you Americans – I'm going to forcefully argue that the american version is superior, based on nothing but "I've never heard of that foreign thing."
In what language though?
Obviously the answer is R2-D2 language.
"sharp" Such a mom word.
Are those the only swords powerful enough to cut his ponytail? Is that what this movie's about? I didn't read the article.
You know what america? It's just so refreshing that your country doesn't take itself too seriously.
I guess I mean sort of popular comedian.
It's weird that the Oscars keep returning to the never-winning formula of a popular comedian delivering stilted, scripted jokes. What if they actually did just get a well-respected actor to do a classy job of this instead? Wouldn't that make more sense?
Imagine if it was Salma Hayek and say . . . Morgan Freeman. Who…
Oh, THAT guy.
I am having trouble remembering who Jimmy Kimmel is.
Here in Canada it's pretty much an expansive comic book genre.
"comicdom’s favorite “Bub”-dubbing claw-handed Canuck"
Fuck yeah, Sweetness Follows.
Exactly, "by far the best album they ever did." As much as I like the earlier albums, it's not even close.
We would be remiss if Red Hot Chili Peppers were not part of this discussion. There are a lot of potential places to quit that band. I made it one album past Blood Sugar Sex Magic. I forget what that album was called.
It is blasphemy to consider Automatic for the People the place to get off the REM train! If you judge that album based on the singles, I can see how that would happen, but it's one of the few 90s albums I still want to hear regularly. I quit REM after buying Monster.
I'm pretty sure Chick-Fil-A didn't write "We Built This City."
"Baseball, long-regarded as America’s least interesting way to use bats"
Not sure I'd call that a letter. Maybe a hand-written tweet?
