It looks like someone's been playing with his face on the start screen of Super Mario 64.

It's so hard to take these reviews seriously with the basic facts that are just wrong right of the bat. Last review mentioned them going to Monte Carlo, when they said multiple times they were in the home of a guy who was vacationing in Monte Carlo. Now, they're fighting bad guys in Elektra's apartment after she

Yeah, listened to the NPR stream several times and really enjoyed it. Left Handed Kisses gets stuck in my head a lot.

Yeah, this is just vintage Bible Belt

And now I'm sad about Wittels again :(

Yeah, that's my problem, not that they premiered multiple series at once or whatever, just that they skipped the steps in building a user base that actually goes to their site to watch anything at all and seem to have expected people to just show up because they got this one thing people like.

You're telling me Yahoo's attempt to build a streaming service around a marginally popular network sitcom and a couple shows no one outside of the AV Club has ever heard of failed? And even with the genuinely terrible user experience they provided?

I liked the LCD Soundsystem reunion rumors better.

I don't know why, but it used to be hugely popular at hockey games. Or at least with the people who pick the music at hockey games. As someone who's gone to a lot of hockey games, it was always torture. That and Stompin Tom Connors' hockey song.

It still blows my mind that Tom McCarthy wrote and directed The Cobbler. I really liked The Station Agent and The Visitor, and had heard good things about Win Win and Spotlight, but then The Cobbler is just wedged in that filmography.

I got the feeling during Peggy's comments in the car, that she was finally starting to put together what she wanted in life when it was too late to really have it. It wasn't fully formed yet, but everything before that was just repeating how she was "actualized," which didn't seem to mean much more than she was doing

This sold out between clicking add to cart and check out :(

Whalen wasn't supposed to snap the ball at all. He doesn't snap it, and it's just a half assed attempt to confuse NE into a penalty resulting in a 5 yard loss, and not a back breaking turnover. I bet he wishes he'd told Griff (who was in because of an injury and never practiced the play) to not snap the ball under

When I first started seeing ads for Benders I thought I might give it a shot despite Leary, since I play a lot of beer league hockey.

It's also also a really good Mac DeMarco album.

"created by Bored To Death"

I believe it's an absurd variation on "Said the actress to the bishop," which David Brent says on the British Office.

Wow, I saw something about Welcome to Sweden once. I didn't realize it had aired any episodes yet, but apparently it was in its second season. I also didn't know Amy Poehler was involved and her brother created it, and I guess everything else about the show except that it probably had something to do with Sweden.
