WE'RE THE LORDS OF THE SEA!
WE'RE THE LORDS OF THE SEA!
I dunno. Losing The Process will not help my chances.
I don't think you are exaggerating by much. We all are meant to do this forever.
Lots of Braves inspired names there. Ah, the 90s. Good times.
Needs more Trump content.
Is Sheldon going to be CGI?
DARKEST FUCKING TIMELINE.
It took me a couple of viewings to fully appreciate The Third Man. So much of it is intentionally weird and off-putting that I needed to watch it again when I was fully acclimated to its vibe.
I still can't locate a Switch. Grrrrrr.
With Hickman's run it didn't feel so much like a crossover (even when stuff like Infinity and Original Sin popped up) as it did this enormously expansive story. Everything is always tied in to this single, overarching narrative, even as it draws in outside elements.
I was pumped when Cable showed up with Baby Hope. I haven't been exposed to him nearly enough.
Hey, for once I'm ahead of you on comic reading! You should definitely read Infinity. At that point in the Avengers/New Avengers narrative the characters get split up three ways, with Infinity following the action on one of the fronts. This is the reading order I used for the whole thing: http://comicbooklibrarian.t…
Oh cool! I thought there was a dropoff starting with House of M, which is why I was surprised that I've been blazing through Messiah Complex so quickly and with so much enjoyment. In that case I'll keep going through until I link back up with A v X, which I read as part of my Avengers go round last year.
I saw clips of some of the curling. Those people are good. There was one clip making the rounds of one stone taking three or four others off the board on one shot.
That is exactly the mashup that has come to mind as I've been rereading it.
Pretty light weekend for me.
I don't like it when it gets dark at 6 pm. Psychologically, it makes it feel like the day is wrapping up too damn early.
The switch to DST fuckin blows. DST itself is great. It stays lighter later! The day doesn't feel practically over by the time I get home from work!
How Was Your Pop Culture Weekend?
Always!
