I don't usually ask people about their ethnicity, but I overheard a friendly-acquaintance  in one of my lectures talking on his cell phone in what I thought was Turkish. I asked if he was from Turkey (he was), and he was really surprised and pleased I guessed correctly.

@avclub-c3420bfbd159b546b7ac7f38c6f7fa55:disqus You're right about the FCC. You can buy jammers on Ebay from other countries, but it's illegal to use them here. I've heard of coffee shops using them, and I'm not aware of anyone getting busted.
