To go with the rest of the people on here, it's not necessarily (although sometimes for me) about taste as much as depth. Pitchfork review more albums in a day than AV Club do in a week.

The music coverage is easily the weakest part of the site. Not that it particularly bothers me, as it's not really what I come here for, but I still can't quite help getting annoyed when I see them rate Aerosmith above Crystal Castles, or something else similarly ridiculous.
