In my mind Paul's Boutique is the best Hip-Hip album of all time, no question.

I think he always found it hard to balance the likes of "My Name Is" and "Real Slim Shady" with "Stan" and "Lose Yourself", and has started only putting out caricatures of each of those different sides to his music.

I'm not sure. I'm possibly different from lots of people who will be involved in these discussions in that I'm still in the middle of being in love with Hip-Hop, and I see just as much merit in the best new stuff as I do in the revered golden age LP's. While 88-94 are the years that really shaped Hip-Hop as a proper

I'm sure there are plenty of people who genuinely love Radiohead, but to me they've always been a band where their critical love is disproportionate to who enjoyable their music actually is, although I'm sure there are people that could say that about every critically acclaimed band.

"Hate" is maybe a little strong, I respect their music but I just don't enjoy it at all. Also every time I see a picture of them I want to punch every single one of them in the face.

I hate Radiohead and love El-P.

Brilliant album. Just gets ahead of R.A.P. Music for Hip-Hop album of the year so far, possibly best album full stop. I still slightly prefer FanDam, mostly because I'm a big fan of the classic El style that Enkidum was criticising (and in fairness it's a love or hate thing), although this could change. Exactly, the actors know who their characters are. While I would love it if Sony came out and declared Harmon was un-fired, but that can't happen, and I believe something worthwhile could still be salvaged from this.
