Exactly, and apparently we're (because it is we, this is the AV club after all) all socially awkward introverts who dress weirdly and know Klingon.

Yeah, the problems with the script are generally nullified by the performances. It's basically a vehicle for each of the actors, and it does that job very well.
SPOILER FROM SOMEONE WHO'S SEEN IT: It's actually quite good. Solid B/B+ IMO.
How many episodes actually centre around Greendale any more though? The Dean get's fired, finds a job somewhere else where the gang begin to hang out and it would be almost no different.
I quite liked the 2nd season of Glee, but I gave up on the 3rd half way through as it became akin to torture.
Is this the magical channel that airs Community, Parks and Rec AND Happy Endings?
But it's soooooooooooooooo good! You get to laugh at, like, nerds because they like Star Trek and stuff. I mean, look at the picture at the top, he's dressed like it's the 70's, BECAUSE HE'S A NERD!!! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
And now someone's stolen the title of MY upcoming autobiography!
@avclub-df80f70f60b1c678f8c91696f4a54f5f:disqus Our own chairman has called us "the scum of the earth" and "morons" and I find the term "Beibering it up" to be the most insulting of them all.
Do we all call it "some random country" then proceed to childishly insult everyone and everything around us?
I believe I speak for all of us when I say: what an utterly classless, talentless little shit.
@avclub-291597a100aadd814d197af4f4bab3a7:disqus I can't think of one bar 30 Rock, which has an ensemble cast with 90% guys.
One of my goals in life is to create a campy spy series/film with "Planet Claire" in the opening/title sequence.
Exactly though. We might finally have a show written by a woman and focussed on women that could be really good. And, while the complaint about it being "too white" is relevant, it completely overshadows the show.
It's got to be Barca v. Bayern for me. Hopefully Bayern will lose 2-0 after being disallowed two obvious penalties and an initially given goal. (yes I'm still bitter about something that happened 37 years ago…)
They're not doing an American version of Only Fools and Horses are they? I predict this is going the same way as US Fawlty Towers.
The fact we celebrate Armistice day, and it's a relatively big thing, suggests it's never really been forgotten. The story about both sides dropping their guns and playing football on Christmas day is also told quite regularly.
Thought this review was incredibly harsh. Loved the novel and caught this when it was on the BBC and loved it too. Will try not to spoil it for those who haven't read the book, but that really sad bit that made me cry (you know, with the letter…) did exactly the same in this. The perfect adaptation IMO.
But the fact is, on the greater scale of things, an "average" episode of Community is about B+/A-.
I agree with @avclub-e6d0513ce49cc06cb956251623cb8fd9:disqus because he is also British, and therefore correct.
