Cutler's gun
That scene where Cutler turns around and you see the gun was great. Great show, hope it comes back.

Stanton is great in Big Love as he projects an immense amount of power for someone who, in the show, is so physically weak. The guy who plays his son is also pretty menacing.

In an episode with Kate in season 2 there was a shot of some trainer's hand in that scene with the horse. So these things do happen occasionally.

Smaller seasons
HBO should do a new show like this every 6 months or so. Hire a decent director for most of the run and a semi-prominent actor and see what they do with 6 or 7 episodes. Not an epic miniseries like Generation Kill or John Adams but weird little shows like this. Seeing what Breaking Bad did last…

We are going to be friends
I enjoy the bits of office camaraderie whenever they crop up. When they all left together it made me happy.

I've seen the movie and haven't read the book. The movie isn't that confusing in terms of the time line and generally makes sense but it is the (what I assume) concepts and issues of the original comic that suffer in the transition to screen.
