I think the next logical re-release is of The Compleat Beatles documentary from the early 80s. It's all on film, so it'll remaster beautifully. Add a commentary track with Paul and Ringo about what the documentary got right, what it got wrong, add a featurette about the making of, make a shit-zillion dollars.

Just from an advertisement point of view, most of these ads are really, really good! They do a good job showcasing the toys, and the kids don't sound like they're acting—-it's just like they were filmed playing with the toys (the ones involving parents aren't as good). Good little actors.

Great article. However, could My Favorite Year be included? He executive produced it, and it's a fictionalized story of his experiences on Your Show of Shows…and it's a great movie.

I'd just like to mention that, to me, the fact that the DS9 series finale played a music cue for O'Brien (a bit from the song "The Minstrel Boy") that was a callback to "The Wounded" (an episode from an entirely different show broadcast over *eight years* before) has always been a symbol of the quality of this show.

Sorry; if you're actually referring to "Something Good", that' a great song. "An Ordinary Couple" was in the stage version and it was pretty pedestrian—-so much so that it was not in the film. "Something Good" was written specifically for the film version, and it's a beautiful song.

Cosmic Thing
Sorry, but Cosmic Thing is a great album. Great production (especially for 1988/89), some great playing, the album version of Love Shack kills the single cut…it's not rocket science, it doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it does keep me listening to it. Just because it's not the great debut album doesn't

[Best Captains]
Realized while reading this: the best Starfleet captains are bald—-Picard, Sisko, and Kirk. What's up with that?

Prole, not to mention TBoBW Part One…!

Yes. Yes, she is. That makes up for a lot.

I dunno…I think it would have happened in season 2 if it hadn't been for the strike. But the return of Crusher, the better uniforms…even the makeup and lighting seem better in season 3 (mostly the writing and overall production/direction). I was watching some early season 3 episodes and actually thought: "man, this

Was P&R *that* bad in its first season?

Crazy Improvement In Short, Short Time
Been watching reruns of TNG on BBC America. They seemed to wisely skip directly to the third season. Or I just didn't notice the reruns until then.
