She's not passive, she's having a nervous breakdown from fear and stress. That *is* the narrative, that she's this badly broken by being around Walt, and he either doesn't notice or doesn't care.

I just did a frame-by-frame on that scene. It's definitely teddybear reminiscent, but I don't see a shot where it's the actual bear.
