I just did a frame-by-frame on that scene. It's definitely teddybear reminiscent, but I don't see a shot where it's the actual bear.

Presumably, there's a second step where the house is decontaminated, so I figured that's why the meth lab stays set up throughout—cleans up the exterior of the tent at the same time.

Seemed like a brilliant concept to me. The quality of the underground lab, but as mobile as the RV.

Triumph? Did you *watch* that scene? That was probably the 3rd or 4th worst moment of Skyler's life.

Not staring the kid down. He's encountering Brock as an actual child, as opposed to the abstract concept of Brock he had in mind last season. I read his expression as Walt slotting Block into that groove—which is gonna cause some cognitive dissonance if you need to see yourself as the good guy, which Walt still does.

I think the scene was set up for us to worry about that, music cues and all. Brock and Walt meet, will Brock recognize Walt?

Actually, I'm completely buying Skyler as a depressive catatonic from the overwhelming situation she's in, and I'll chalk one up to Anna Gunn that she's selling it so well that people think she's underacting. Cf. Anna Torv's performances in season 1 of Fringe.

Seems fairly unlikely that he'd go through the ritual of arranging the bacon on a fake birthday. I don't see the fake ID as a misdirect there.

They're showing Skyler with classic signs of chronic depression, so I'm starting to think suicide sooner than Walt as the reason to lose the wedding ring.

That's a rather baffling comment. If the encryption in place is solid, yeah, that could make the drive unreadable.

My working theory (repeating from elsewhere in the thread): Hank suspected last season, changed his opinion of Walt after the poker game bluff, and got actual evidence when he looked at the "encrypted" hard drive. He's been protecting Walt ever since.
