That's the one thing I don't like about Pokemon. Each game seems to make a serious effort to improve on the last one in nearly every way, except the difficulty, which seems to be constantly sliding into being easier and easier. I still have fun, but I'd like a little challenge too. I guess that's what Nuzlocke runs…
