I dunno, if anything this episode threw too little shit at the wall. Just witches and minotaurs? By this time last season we had evil nuns, serial killers, mutants, aliens, lesbians, and then in the very next episode we got Satan himself.

I wasn't really feeling this episode, it was missing that crazy spark. Then Taissa Farminga killed a dude with her magic vagina and I was glad to welcome American Horror Story back.

If this is foreshadowing that Nicolas Cage will be guest starring as himself later this season, I will die of happiness.

Hate to break it to you, but McDermott probably isn't returning this season due to commitment to Hostages. If he ever does show up, it will be as a late addition like last year. That first opening is probably fake.

Maybe it's going to be retooled for next year? I hope so at least.
