Maybe we aren't supposed to like Will in that moment and I read it incorrectly, but I think it's pretty apparent that what Will was saying about tabloids and reality TV is an opinion that's pure Sorkin (it smacks of his "this generation doesn't know anything" tendencies) and I found it incredibly patronizing.
