Have the Rolling Stones killed.

Lord Byron kept a pet bear at college because there weren't no rule against it. I wish I could be half as crazy and a quarter as awesome as Byron.

Great poem, although I'm sad that Eliot's pre-conversion stuff gets taught way more (at least to high schoolers and in intro college classes) than his post-conversion poems. "Ash Wednesday" is one of my all-time favorites.

God, how fucking great is Housman? Everything he writes should come across as trite, hacky shit, but in actuality, the opposite of that.

Benjamin Britten set parts of "Jubilate Agno" I wanna say in the mid-'40s. It's far from my favorite Britten musically, but it's still pretty nice. And the Jeoffry part is pretty solid.

See, if you're talking about dicks, it's funnier to throw the "solitary" back in there.

:applauds:

Also, when the bullet hits Apu, he immediately falls to the ground, which violates conservation of momentum. What are we supposed to believe, that this is some kind of, heh, magic bullet?

Same. I thought, you know, it was okay, but nothing like as mind-blowingly great as other people seemed to think. Does it get better? Or am I just not the kind of person Enlightened is going to appeal to?

This is just MLP: FiM with racing, isn't it?

I guess this was after Full Metal Jacket, but D'Onofrio turning up in Ed Wood (as Orson Welles! with Maurice LaMarche, I believe, voicing!) is among my favorite filmic what-the-fuck moments.

Melissa Leo!

Melissa Leo!

"Artistic accomplishment?" I mean, let's not go overboard here.

"Adds an element of danger and intrigue to the spectacle!… Pulse-pounding!… [A] romantic fantasy!" — Scott Tobias, The A.V. Club

But seriously we MEUNDABRIDG

Hm, I mean, they could do whatever the fuck they want, but let's reserve one of those half-hour slots for the Listler and Wompler Show.

I'm pretty sure that any attempt to fit Comedy Bang Bang into a self-consistent world will lead to naught but insanity. I mean, Marissa Wompler probably has the closest thing to a genuine character arc of anyone on the show, and her parents have changed names and professions a number of times.

Gretel is not normal. Far from it.

More specifically, whip your dick out and show it who's boss.
