I'm too busy Saturday but watching these could make One Wonderful Sunday.
I had no plans anyway. I'm already a shut-in. So this works for me.
I'm finding the Phil and Elizabeth's marriage troubles to be the least interesting aspect of the show so far. Everytime the show deals with yet another issue between them I just groan and want to fast forward. I really don't care whether they have a "real" marriage or not. In fact I think it'd be more interesting if…
Crimewave will be a must-buy as it also includes a Bruce Campbell commentary, according to Fangoria:

American Horror Stove: Corny
"Chon is terrified of disappointing his demanding father by possibly failing to make a good impression at his med-school interview the next morning."
Johnny Marr talking about and playing "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now"
For those looking to get their Criterion 50% off, then today's the day, and I do mean TODAY. For the next 24 hours they're selling everything they have in stock for 50% off from their site:
The mistake was not discussing in more depth just how deplorably unsexy women's prisons really are.
Or at least doing that spanking motion again. Hot!
It reads like Nabin is trying to channel the ONealbot and failing miserably.
Been enjoying your write-ups on Soderbergh. I thought you might find this article from David Bordwell about The Good German interesting, if you hadn't seen it before. At the end he gives his opinion on whether it captures the look of a movie of the period, and says that it fails. A good technical overview as his…
Those Taste of Money ads are pretty effective. They're bright red and have a naked woman, which catches my attention and gets me to linger, which is not good for work browsing.
This movie is so much fun.
Yeah, that sentence made no sense. Even his "extreme" movies as listed up there like Ichi the Killer and Dead or Alive are still really funny. Ichi definitely switches from horrific to hilarious and blends them together effortlessly. Same with the Dead or Alive series. Miike's movies are almost always damn funny.
A crockpot BBQ shredded pork recipe I do: use whatever rub you like on the Boston Butt (I typically let it sit over night with the rub), put it in the crockpot with some garlic and onions, fill it a 1/4 to 1/2 with water, pour in some Liquid Smoke to taste (I like more than most people), cook it on low for 8- 10…
Love this movie. It actually gets the mix of horror and humor right. So many horror comedies just aren't scary or creepy, just take horror elements and make them funny. This one actually has some disturbing shit. The scene with the corpse saying how its in pain is still creepy. And the nasty zombie in the basement is…
Excellent episode. All kinds of good stuff here. Lots of those sweeter moments in the Shameless way of doing sweet.
Really liking this show so far. Cutting back and forth between different sketches, adding in commercials and smaller bits, all with a basic theme, keeps it together, keeps it moving, and is damn funny. I was looking forward to this show, Kroll is damn funny, but am happy it turned out to be really good with a lot of…
