Not a lot of people bring up that this means 480 spots for comedians on television. That isn't happening many other places. Good exposure for funny people. Not saying it will make someone's career, but I don't think it hurts to be able to showcase talent. I've been enjoying it.

Name's Erik. Sorry I don't stay completely anonymous like you.

Literally 4 comments over 10 months. Super creepy. You replied directly to 4 of my comments in 24 hours. Give it a rest.

"UBIQUITOUS on cable". Your cable has 2 channels? Either that or you are using "UBIQUITOUS" in a very liberal way. Also none of these points has to with the podcast. This is a podmass article. And if the unfunny comment has to with the podcast, I repeat don't listen. It's been 3 years, why comment just to say you

Someone does this Chris Hardwick hate on every AVclub article related to him. The podcast has been around. How have you not learned to either not listen or listen and live with it. What does this just saying how you don't like someone do for you?

This is ridiculous. The way he looks now determines who he is? He has talked about growing up unpopular and having to turn inward because of that, which made him become nerdier than most popular kids around him. I honestly, think it is a case of him growing into his looks later in life.

They are running huge banner ads for Maron on the Nerdist site. The Maron episode of Nerdist that was just released seems to suggest that Chris and Marc are more friendly than ever.

latch on to "nerd culture,"? You clearly have not listened to the podcast very much. This sentiment is almost as stupid as people here who "fucking hate" him despite him not doing anything negative to them. Not liking a show or the entertainment someone produces is fine, but hating them for it seems ridiculous. The

They are nice people discussing a show. At the very worst it is harmless. AMC loves it. No budget and beats a premiere of Game of Thrones in total viewers. That's cash for them. Obviously, not everyone has to like it. Change the channel.

I might be biased because I enjoy most Nerdist podcasts, but I thought the Camilla Luddington episode was pretty good. She isn't a comedian, but I thought she fit in well and was at the very least nice.

I'd never really heard a long interview with Jason Schwartzman. I really enjoyed it.

I agree that bashing anything is a bit unnecessary, but as was already said the Nerdist guys do have a pretty clear definition of what a hipster is to them and I honestly don't think they fit in that category. Jonah, is the guy most people point out, but he likes certain things with a pretty unabashed enthusiasm. As

It's so easy to stay away from all of it. Like, not clicking on a link to a review of a stand up special you know you don't like. Negative comments are so weird to me. If you've made a decision on him than just stop listening and watching.

People say the same thing about Fallon. Some people want to believe he isn't the nice person that people verify he is daily. Search "Nerdist" on Twitter the night of one of his shows from somewhere around the country. What you will find is a string of people saying how he waited after the show and said hi to everyone

if you ever listened to the podcast you would know he has asked AMC to change the way those promos are done. He doesn't make every decision.

Yeah, why dont they say more negative stuff about people like Tom Hanks. I mean who would think he was a nice guy. And then to say he was nice to his face, who would do that. Being sarcastic, no hard feelings. I like Nerdist, but its just a matter of taste. You should still maybe give it a try once and a while. IMO

I think this is a bit unfair because at the end of the episode Chris talks about how his knowledge in music is lacking compared to theirs.  But said he loved listening to them talk about it because they are clearly such music nerds. As the review stated Chris laid back pretty heavily on the Rollins episode. I liked

Did the Nerdist Doctor Demento episode not make a time deadline or was too late in the week? Just wondering because I thought it was there best of the week. Super cool to hear from Demento, a guy whos been in radio since the 60's. If you can review it for next Podmass you should.
