The word itself makes some men uncomfortable.

That's the one. Just finished After Henry.
What a charming comment, kind of like when an atheist screams in a Christian's face for being so dumb as to believe in God.
There is something to be said about iTunes devaluing music, but it's hard to feel too bad about it. The folks at Napster attempted to work with the major labels to develop something akin to iTunes years beforehand that offered a much more generous share of the profit, but the major labels were still making money hand…
Shows get canceled. I have a friend who worked on Mulaney. It seems like these folks get used to this kind of thing.
It's OK, Kat Dennings makes the thinky thinky parts of my brain malfunction too.
I had to Google this and now I need to listen to this ASAP. I think it's funny that apparently Brett Gelman freaked out on someone during the same podcast, as I listened to an old, live Comedy Bang! Bang! recently and he spent like 5 minutes chewing out an audience member. Dude seems to have a very short fuse.
Sophie was by far my favorite (and perhaps my favorite of the series, aside from Sunil), but I didn't really mind any of the first season patients. It makes a certain degree of sense to feel frustrated by Jake and Amy and Laura, as they're clearly the patients that give Paul the most problems as a clinician.
I wouldn't have expected such juvenile behavior from someone named BonerTime. (You are a descendant of the Manhattan BonerTimes, I assume?)
Have you seen American Splendor? Bernie definitely took some cues from that one, and I highly recommend it.
Read some Joan Didion yesterday. One day I will finish the 1300+ page collection of her nonfiction I bought like 3 years ago. Also thanks to Anthony Bourdain's The Layover for teaching me how to properly crack an egg (turns out using a flat surface rather than the edge of a bowl helps eliminate the chance of getting…
Upvoted for sympathy for the grad school time suck. I'm wrapping up a very easy semester but I have two classes with the head of my program in the Spring and every time I see him he kindly encourages me to brace myself for the death of my social life.
Rick Moranis has a massive brain! That's how he built that kickass shrink ray.
You can buy a metal, reusable filter. Also I am jealous of your stainless steel french press. We have a pretty durable ceramic one, but I have a bias towards anything stainless steel. Durable and classy as hell.
You joke, but - https://en.wikipedia.org/wi…
I really want the coffee table book, but I already dropped nearly $100 for the KS and it's hard to justify spending that much on my lowly graduate assistant salary.
Gotta go out and get himself one of those king hats first.
I don't remember his character, but I imagine Big Brother was not fond of his funky, freewheeling ways.
That was great, and I already knew of/liked her art from following her Instagram. Reminds me a lot of Explodingdog.
