Least favorite season of The Shield? I'll have to go with Season 4. Glenn Close just didn't do it for me. I'm doing my first rewatch since it went off the air, so maybe I'll feel differently this time around. But, I'll agree that Season 2 was an improvement over Season 1, Season 3 was a step up from Season 2 and once

Yeah, the cat scene was devastating. That shit still gives me the creeps.

Don't worry, this is Mads Mikkelsen we're talking about here. No reason for concern.

Sparky Fluffy Buckwheat XVI: Thanks for the explanation. That makes a lot of sense now that I think about it. I never thought doing Pilot's voice would have such a strain on his vocal chords. I just figured they just ran it through some sort of filter/program to get his voice like that. Makes me appreciate what these

Good call. Far Cry 3 was awesome. Strange, but for some reason, I'm just not feeling Bioshock Infinite. Don't get me wrong, it's a fun game, but people are acting like it's the best game to come out for the past 3 years. I still feel the original Bioshock is hands down better than Infinite(much more atmosphere).

Art has quickly become one of my Top 3 characters(don't ask me in which order). Once Art shows up on screen, you know you're in for a treat. A few episodes back, when the show opened with Art losing his shit in front of the office staff was one of the highlights of the season from me. Also, I have to agree that it's

Does anyone know why Pilot's voice sounds higher in "The Peacekeeper Wars" than all the seasons prior? I thought maybe that Lani Tupu wasn't voicing Pilot any longer, but that wasn't the case. Maybe it was just me, but it seemed like a pretty significant change(especially going in right after season 4).

I purposely avoid the "next week's preview" because I don't want to anything to be spoiled. It's already bad enough that they give us a preview of what's going to happen after this commercial break!

You'll be happy to know we get a little taste of Shane as Boyd Crowder in the 12th episode of Season 1, "Two Days of Blood". Redneck cockfighting!

SPOILERS

Season 5 is going to be awesome is right! I'm leaning towards saying it's my favorite season, but it's such a tough call to make.

Great call on Brotherhood! It truly saddens me that this show seems like it's been completely forgotten about in the short time it's been off the air. It was unfairly judged as being the "Irish Sopranos", which it wasn't. But, I'm happy to see that both Jason Clarke & Jason Isaacs are getting plenty of work these

Good luck trying to hold off until they catch up with Seasons 6 & 7 here. That's an awful long wait for us Shield junkies. Might as well put the under the category of, "Shit that ain't going to happen".

Yeah, after my post above I thought about how I watched this entire series from the start, week to week, year to year. I don't know how I held up. But, when a new season was about to start, it was cause for celebration! I remember watching the last episode of the series and I just sat there speechless and thought

Man, jealous of all the people here watching this for the first time. If I could only go back…I decided to start a rewatch once I heard the AV Club were going to start doing Shield reviews and I planned on watching 2 episodes per week to follow along here. Well, that plan went straight out the window. Just finished

Good call. I thought that dude looked familiar. "LET THE BOYZ BE BOYZ!"

I also love it when Rygel refers to Zhaan as "Big, Blue Bitch". He slightly annoyed me during the beginning of the show, but by the end, I absolutely adored him.

I assume you're referring to "The Way We Weren't"?

"Come to Quark's. Quark's is fun. Come right now. Don't walk, run!"

Thanks for posting this White Suburban Punk! Always love to hear about the behind the scenes aspects of my favorite shows. Hopefully this will be a weekly thing?
