This movie has a bunch of enjoyable parts, but as soon as you say "Wouldn't people notice…." it completely falls apart.

One interesting role of the Liberals that I forgot to add: back before the House Of Lords was reformed there were often more Liberals than Labour Lords sitting there (a leftover of the Libs glorious past), so to the extent that the Lords functioned as the opposition to the Thatcher government it was the Liberals…

If you haven't seen Flight Of The Conchords I'd suggest giving it a try. I can't necessarily say people who like ArrDev will like it but they have a similarly dry and pessimistic sense of humor.
