Man, he's got a life of disappointment worthy of a Taxi character. Grease was I think pretty rough for him too. And then Wizards & Warriors doesn't last and his shot at stardom is over (although he worked a lot).

I'll be famous. Like famous Amos.
He's the Johnny Cage of cabbies.
This show and The Incredible Hulk were the big doses of pathos in my childhood, and I kept running back for more. I think it's legitimately good for a kid to see what disappointment looks like, and that it doesn't have to be the end of the story.
Wait, what? The whole point of my comment is that "what might have happened" is never a fact. All the things I said (including the Pearl Harbor stuff) would require us knowing unknowable things.
That's what he gets for agreeing when his brother said: "Hey, let's all go to the well and play THE RING!"
Oh wow, hadn't thought of that at all. Clever.
Agree with this review completely: a collection of fun loopy moments, but not much of an episode.
My theory is that she enjoyed the idea of seducing a basically good guy into leaving his girlfriend for her, but didn't like that this basically turned him into a sex monster who was completely out of her control (until she pulls the pregnancy scare card, perhaps believing it).
I guess I'm thinking of the computers people speculate about in which bits can stand for "maybe" as well as "1" and "0".
Without that you just have Cocoon: The Horror Movie.
You do get lit-up Railsback butt at the er…climax, don't you?
Reminds me of Scott Tobias on TOS describing the 70s/80s computers in Computer Chess as "analog". An analog computer would be super-advanced!
Or from "Young Sherlock Holmes", for that matter.
Casey much.
Am I the only one who though Chadwick was going to turn out to be the traitor? It would have been incredibly unlikely, but otoh would have been a very easy way to amp up the tension & danger. Can't say it would have been better, just weird that they didn't go there.
Oz of all shows managed to have a musical episode, but I guess that does take place in a highly "staged" universe (narration, fantasies, the Devil) even though a lot of realistic gritty stuff also happens.
Nice notion. You could maybe square the circle if every time the fire alarm has gone off Quark has tried to disconnect the sensor, and this has set off a security alarm.
Maybe it was meant to be "I'm bad at remembering Jesus' titties."
Bashir is the Mayor of Garak's tailor shop.
