You mean, plan to shoot a vital emotional scene with *more* than an hour of fading nighttime? CRAZYPANTS.

I don't know about the whole team, but the driver would likely be paid an hourly rate for his time waiting with an additional fee per take of the stunt. With something like this, they might have negotiated a specified fee, and if so it definitely would've been contingent on only one take.

If he was worth millions, would he really be doing this job? [Not "assistant producer" or whatever he is, assistant producer or whatever he is on this movie.]

Assuming he's a normal A.D., he is carrying around a bunch of things that other people might wind up needing; markers and pens and such, batteries, wipes & tissues…

I disagree, but only because of this most recent episode, when he has the balls to talk shit to the camera about how every single day of the shoot has been a disorganized mess.

Honestly, I think Jim Sheridan is a way worse director who lucked himself into one nomination by an association with Daniel Day-Lewis and Harvey Weinstein, and stretched that out into a career which included another nomination.

If Best Director were actually based on visual razzmatazz, it would indeed be a mystery. But Best Director is based on which director gets the best performances out of their actors, and Daldry always gets a bunch of actors nominated.

The original Natural Born Killers script is a bunch of people sitting around talking about things that happened off camera. All Stone did was put them on camera.

I just checked the contents list — I'd stand up for "Dog, Cat, Baby", but that's only two or three pages. I think "Bestsellers Guaranteed" was an "all the stories that didn't get put into By Bizarre Hands" collection.

Having sympathy toward a small business isn't the same thing as forgiving law-breaking. If a business can't stay in business without breaking the law, how is that the fault of the musician?

A lot of bootleggers will remove things that get commerically released, because it is the difference between bootlegging and piracy.

Most of this review could've been in the other review, I think the reviewer wanted to write about the very last scene and what was wrong with it, and that wasn't enough for an article so then it was padded with a bunch of non-spoilery but related stuff.

Serious question: Is there a single celebrity that has been animated on South Park in a way that doesn't mock their appearance?

I don't exactly disagree with you, but you can't say she is a hero for shining a spotlight on trans issues while saying that being a shitty parent is justifiable because she's in the spotlight and because of trans issues.

"Where has my Country Gone"

It's so cute that you assume I'm Canadian.

Did Nate Silver calculate the odds that Trump would be raped to death? I want to read that article.

I am not surprised that they don't like Trump, but I am surprised that part of their reason seemed to be that he isn't a serious politician, which seems like the kind of thing they would've loved about him ten years ago.

I am really amused by this suggestion that the left "hates" Donald Trump. That must be why he won't go on MSNBC or CNN anymore, because the left is so aggressively attack— oh, wait, it's the opposite of that, that's right. It's Fox News that is aggressively attacking him, to the point where he refuses to go on the

If you think this episode was exactly the same as "Goobacks", then you have never ever seen "Goobacks", or this episode, or both. They use completely different types of jokes to make completely different points about completely different subjects.
