I don't have HBO, but I'm assuming based on that picture up there that it's about women who tragically have no idea how to dress themselves.

I just went back and reread those comment threads, and the list of Christie porn titles has me literally crying with laughter at work.  Again.

Nobody who dies on it will deserve an obituary, unless the entire thing just reads "DUUUUUUUUUUUUH".

How shaky-cam is it?

I'm also working my way through Terriers right now, and I don't know what I'm missing, but I'm not loving it as much as other people who generally share my tastes do.  It's probably a case of show not matching hype, and I would have been more excited about it if I had just stumbled upon it, but I keep expecting it to

I actually just picked up that book and am only a few chapters into it so far.  I was reluctant to read any Franzen because of his supercilious personality, but I have to say, it's not bad so far.

I also seem to remember that Nicholas and Donald got tattoos as part of their Fast Forward, and even though they'd just permanently altered their bodies to stay in the race (and come in first for the leg), it turned out to be a non-elimination leg.  They were a lot more gracious about it than I would have been.

Apparently, it features talking pigs…

Is it weird that my first thought upon reading that was "What was the movie?"

I don't know this to be a fact, but I was assuming that them being biracial was heavily mentioned because a lot of their skits revolve around racial themes, not because the reviewer wanted to appear cool.

Glen was fifty feet tall!

I don't care what Ms. Johnson says!

Yes, wandering around being all mysterious and naked and stuff.

Okay.  Death Becomes Her!

That book actually helped me deal with some teenaged angst, and I am not even kidding.

I'm actually re-reading #5 right now because I discovered I couldn't remember much about it, and….yeah.

That's my feeling, too.  No matter how bizarre the premise, I'll always give Bryan Fuller shows a shot.

It’s all reminiscent of the furor over the finale to The Sopranos
and how many people expected Tony to get his grand comeuppance and were
disappointed at the ambiguity of the episode conclusion. That show’s
creator, David Chase, said that he was put off by the bloodthirstiness
of the show’s fans—fans who had happily

I've found myself thinking "Well, that was fine, but it could have stood to be about forty minutes shorter," about basically 90% of movies these days.

I'm never going to see this movie, so could someone please spoil the hell out of it for me?
