Everyone always mentions the credit card line, but never includes the awesome payoff:
I'm glad you broke the ice on this one. John Hodgman is wonderful, but I just can't listen to this podcast anymore. I don't know if it's because it's not well-produced or because — as you say — the guests are becoming worse and worse, but for something that started off strong, I just can't wring any fun out of it…

I'm happy to be alive during this explosion of entertainment centered around cooking (both informational and competitive), but Jesus, is it ever time to get some new vanguards. One-note hacks like Ramsay, Guy Fieri, and yeah-I'll-say-it Paula Deen are becoming more irritatingly omnipresent by the day.
I'd say that Harriet person on "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip", if I could have stomached watching that shit show for more than two minutes to get any evidence for my argument.

I could never articulate my problems with DiCaprio, but that just about nails it.
Face it, Dorothy. Men would rather PAY for cupcakes.
The "wet teacher contest" bit is one of the best jokes of the series.
You know what would be a good entry episode? "Jack Frost".
Everyone's always going on about "Mr. B Natural", but "Design for Dreaming" and "The Home Economics Story" are pure gold.
