Season finale tonight-we can check back in here and dissect the season. Fiona's aged a ton, sadly, and the show seems to have reinvented the characters to make them dark and gritty, which isn't for me-i don't need to see jeffrey donovan flex his acting muscles, i just need light and frothy tales.

Has Clive Own beem dropped from the project? Get a new agent, Clive!

Clive Owen now vile, evil clown Clive Own (Clive Owen clone).

when the hoodoo comes was a good tune

Hey, Stan went to Miami instead of LA! And got an even shittier boss.

The music.

That whole final sequence was beautiful-the Draper family's shadows seen against the gray road from above before they appear, Hamm's face from that angle-just some beautiful images.

I followed KIDS OF… & JNR HIGH in the 80s in England-still remember the theme music

I was in Madrid about 15 years ago when riot police entered the Plaza Dos de Mayo during some anarchist demonstrations and began firing rubber bullets to disperse the hundreds of kids who were there. I panicked so completely I actually started running *towards* the cops until I came to my senses.

At least Lindelof owns the dumbness of it all; "..Ridley and I talked about… it…and he was
excited about doing it. But then I think what ended up happening was
that the movie came out". Oh boy, did it ever.

That was not fluent Spanish-dunno if it was meant to be in the context of the show, but it sounded like he was reading phonetic transcription off cue-cards.

As an AVCLUB regular I'm interested to know how a female could help in continuing a species?

In barrels!!!

The characters "leapt off the page", if you will.

That was 4 days ago-have you finished it yet?

I agree with the first part of your statement.

I suppose Tom's being kept in reserve for his own trilogy.

Woah, buddy. Bombur is fat, so we know that right there.

Any excuse except having to read, apparently.

Never knew these fellows were Scoretish-if ever a country punched above it's weight, musically speaking, it's Scotland.
