Well, also all the cutaways and flashbacks they do. Those are pretty difficult to pull off live.

The best joke in History of the World, Part I is the unfulfilled promise of the title.
You're just making me glad I stopped watching early in season five.
Season 3 is better but is going to have maybe even more pacing issues than the first two. It's got one of the best season finales of all time, though. It's worth pushing through purely for "Shut the Door. Have a Seat."
Jon Glaser is a pretty funny guy. It's the writing that fails him, imo.
Definitely not a History of the World, Part I fan, and while Men in Tights has its moments, it's still a pale version of the better parodies that Brooks has done. Spaceballs was accidentally overlooked as mentioned below.
Yeah, somehow adding in a new character whose entire existence serves no purpose other than to be the bad guy was less effective than gradually turning one of the already established characters into an asshole and mining effective drama and comedy from that. Shocker.
Overlooked Spaceballs. B+, so I'll allow it.
Is it edible if I knew exactly what I was saying wink wink nudge nudge sayn'more
Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, The Twelve Chairs, High Anxiety, and Silent Movie. All ranging from roughly a B (High Anxiety) to an A (I'll give you two guesses which two).
Really? Now that I didn't know.
Fun fact: I didn't even mean to make that pun.
you know full well that's not what i meant you saucy wench
Five-of-nine worth watching, not too bad for the price.
"Oh I do too" means "I like them also."
Hot? Hot.
Oh I do too. But seriously, who thought to eat them to begin with?
probably what happened there is they were licking them anyway and something came out and well the rest is history
Yes.
I want to meet the person who figured out artichokes were something one can eat, because he or she must have been the weirdest person ever.
