Yeah, I know what you mean. It's way in the back of my mind, but there's something about it that sticks out that way.

Yeah, I don't necessarily mean that killing Pierce off/giving him a funeral would be better than what happened, just that there's any number of better ways that exit could have been addressed.

As much as I'd like for them to do something better for Pierce's exit than his perfunctory "why don't I graduate as well?" exit in AITF, I doubt they will.
