Yesterday, finished 'Down Station' by Simon Morden. Second-world/portal fantasy is not normally a genre I enjoy, but I liked his earlier London-set cyberpunk stuff enough to try it, and I enjoyed it enough to get the sequel, 'The White City'.

Tonks bought a new pressure cooker: the Instant Pot IP-DUO80, which is apparently so good it has a cult following. She made a great beef stew as first go, is now doing a batch of the 'Nomato' tomato-free red sauce we use for Italian food because of my mad nightshade allergy, and a chicken/mushroom risotto.
