Fowl idea.

I don't agree. My read on S1-S3 is that Michael is at least in his own mind trying to do right by his son although the practical results of that are completely lacking as you note. In fact I saw that as part of the satire of the show, he's trying to make George Michael live up to old-fashioned and damaging standards

Don't forget 24 and Prison Break.

I think it would make it worse not better. The jumbled up storytelling was a feature so if you remove that, I think you'd have a mess or at best longish episodes with either undeveloped strands of plot or not enough jokes lasting too long. And don't get me started on the clash of tones and acting styles going on.

I just need one hint of a sniff of a redeeming feature per Bluth per episode damnit!

Ah they probably shot their wad on Loblaw puns at this point anyway.

It didn't help that the first episode was one of the weakest ones in the season and that it was the first thing a lot of die-hard fans saw after literally years hoping the show would come back.

Do it! :-)

I thought other than possibly with Maeby, S4 lacked heart. George-Michael doesn't have to be an out and out heroic martyr but he could have done with a touch more heart and relative goodness to him.

I have mixed feelings about this. Even as a relative fan of S4, I think I only want it to happen if Mitch is somehow able to write most of it first and then work out if it's logistically possible. But also why would he do that because I'm sure he probably doesn't want to write some to part of a season of TV on spec at

Electrocution is 99% psychological

I really liked Dr Sara's character. Is this by any chance Walking Dead related animosity? ;-p

I don't like S3 but I thought S4 was basically ok (by which I mean reasonably fun) until the point where Self turned on them.

Something something he's useful to a shadowy conspiracy or something something he manages to exploit an unexpected opportunity.

I wonder if they are going to do the 24 Mid-Eastia thing or make up a country name. Also I love the following ideas for the event series:
1) Linc is actually better at Prison Breaking because he just blows a giant hall in the wall and it's all over bar the shooting in a couple of hours.
2) Mike & Dr Sara's moppet plans

Yeah I was watching it alongside 24, Charmed and Heroes (and some good shows but they don't serve my point) and frankly Prison Break was cerebral compared to some of those. "Quiet Riot" was a good late stage episode.

Well Mahone didn't even die so there's a chance.

At this point as well, it's so nice to have it back to being weekly after months of sporadic Bugles.

Michelle Gellar, Zachary Quinto, Kanye West, or Jason Mraz."

Fictional arseholes.
