Definitely Waffle. This was the fourth or fifth time I've met him and he's always been difficult but this was the first time he's treated her like shit in front of us and it wasn't one or two remarks- it was every single interaction.

My feelings have not being soothed at all by a phone call my Dad had from her. He raised it indirectly and incredibly gently (he hates conflict so this is a given) and it was a blip and he's having a really tough time apparently.

If you can, stay off that thought train. You don't know what he's doing and you need to look after yourself and be kind to yourself. Good luck. And don't mentally torture yourself because you aren't ready to move on yet. It's not a competition.

I'm loving all the Gilmore Girls content. Thanks for the interview Gwen Ihnat.

I think Gilmore Girls lends itself to this kind of thing better since they managed to get the key cast and the story is partly in the passage of change and life changes or lack thereof.

In addition to being good The Bugle alerted me to the frankly insane news that India got rid of two major denominations of its currency overnight to try and get a handle on corruption. An ambitious idea that is also intriguingly terrible since it has forced people to their banks to try and change it for denominations…

Heaven Sent is a really good episode.
