Millennial or not, I prefer to watch TV downstairs in a comfy chair rather than on a computer screen with buffering and the odd internet outage.

Maeby you should reconsider.
I was hoping this would be a Netflix thing, not sure who will pick it up in the UK.
Needs more Emily. I hope she won't get short shrift in this.
Actually I kind of like the suggestion of Rory having a more troubled career trajectory than suggested by the original end of the series. Especially as she was/wanted to be a journalist. Feels like something they will able be to laugh at but also do realistically.
Yeah that's 60 million people.
I always feel a bit sad for Colin Baker. I think he would have been much more fondly remembered if he'd had some stronger scripts.
US elections are pretty much always close but I suppose the Democrats are less inclined to field these dreadful candidates, so it's hard to definitively say there are forty million who would always vote Democrat. I can't even really wish for them to find someone unsuitable for next time to prove my point for definite…
I would say both the Brexit vote and the Trump vote have brought some ugly emotions to the surface from people who aren't happy about aspiring to increased sexual, racial and gender equality.
"I'm guessing some people would baulk at the idea that Bernie Sanders is a
left-wing SJW… but he's clearly more left-wing than Clinton and by
all accounts would've won by a landslide."
It seems like a fantastic future is going to be unlikely until we start doing better as a species. Frankly even A.A Dowd couldn't give humanity as high a grade as C- for 2016 ;-)
I really liked this episode. I thought they did a great job of moving Garrison into the "genuinely chilling human being" category. I'm still loving the whole nostalgia idea as well. Everybody has a different version of when the perfect times were.
Kristen Schaal did a terrific job with Sarah Lynn's character.
Yeah I preferred the earlier saner iterations of Jenna and Pete as well.
Nope :-)
Sully could still land it :-)
I think I would probably take either The Machine or Samaritan running the US over Trump.
I enjoyed the post-election Bugle. Andy having some distance from the US and the US election meant he wrote some funny stuff about it and Hari was funny, while obviously shocked and subdued.
I didn't know quarantine was as long as 6 months for animals. Yikes.
My perception from talking to various people from the US on newspaper sites and things and reading comments is that "liberal" is a perjorative, let alone "socialist". I think it's a stretch to say Bernie could have won this election.
