I enjoyed "My Name is Earl" at the time but 20+ episodes in the first few seasons was way too many for the premise.

One thing I like about long-running shows and their later seasons is that the showrunners/writers end up having to change the status quo a little bit at least because they are out of stuff to do.
Faison was great. And he was good on the Clueless TV show as well which I always liked.
I thought the ending of Chuck was really disrespectful to the most interesting character on the show.
Okay my turn.
I love the ending to that one. If I remember it correctly, the closing voiceover warns that in real life, there's always another case around the corner and it's easy to miss things until it's too late.
There's a period in the middle where they make the character unlikable in increasingly bizarre ways. I found that bit of the show where J.D has nowhere to live for ages really strange.
That is a hotly contested field.
I didn't like the musical either. I preferred the show's less broad moments, especially when they didn't undercut a sad storyline with something wacky.
I don't think she was a monster. Clearly anyone surviving a relationship with Dr Cox would have to be pretty independent and assertive or they'd just be completely walked all over.
I don't think Elliott's arc was all downhill. I hated some of the wackiness of her later storylines (like when an angry member of the public tapes her to the wall) but I liked her professional development. The storyline where J.D can't handle the fact she's become a better doctor in some respects was interesting and…
He was in his fifties when he bragged about committing sexual assault and how cool it is to get away with sexual assault. But all his words regarding women make it crystal clear that he has contempt for half the population, he can't even relate to his own daughter without seeing her as a sex object.
I agree about the GOP but Trump isn't nearly as done politically as he should be.
Thanks. They aren't all universally terrible all the time but it's also bad for me to sit letting this stuff pass and like I say the place is a dead end unfortunately.
Maybe but isn't the trend towards a worsening pool? Look at what happens to credible candidates like Huntsman.
Heh, the two were unconnected ;-)
I listened to some Sleater-Kinney and I worried about the future.
It is dehumanising to call anyone it really though.
It isn't jokes where I work sadly. The owners and senior staff legitimately don't believe women are as good at working in this industry and when I get to a year or get another job I will go work somewhere where I have a cat in hell's chance of getting promoted when I do my job well.
I've done minimum wage jobs for some shitty employers. None of my young male colleagues bragged about sexually assaulting people.
