Boy the CIA are getting less and less subtle!

Actually I was going to mention the Veronica Mars thingy as a joke in my post but I have no faith in the AVC's collective sense of humour any more. Dude above you seems to have missed that I was maybe not 100% serious for instance but then again he was busy trying to shoehorn weird sexist bs implying I don't work for

I've seen less projecting at the local cinema ;-)

Uh I have tonsilitis.

Really?

Thanks for the heads up, I'll look that one up.

I really liked her 24 character and frankly large parts of it were thankless (constant mentions of the husband, her slight faux-pas towards the end vis a vis Audrey).

I think of it with dread and in some detail because it was an AS Level set text at the time. "What about the imagery in this chapter?" "I don't know, leave me alone!"

Plus Serena would have looked less good because the women weren't allowed things like make up and styling aids ;-)

Turk only knows……

Wasn't that for something that didn't actually seem to require any money if I remember correctly? Some ukelele band or similar cutesy instrument.

Ok so Strahovski is all of 34. Bleurgh. It's like Joy all over again where I enjoyed Jennifer Lawrence's performance but the actress really needed to be five to ten years older to be vaguley plausible.

After Wyatt, I question whether we needed yet another "gasp more powerful than the Charmed Ones" witch character.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one who still disapproves of rich established people using Kickstarter et al.

She was really good in Chuck and was good in the 24 miniseries with really quite a thankless part.

Fair points but a lot of the discussion seems to have reduced to the Earwolf podcasts and a couple of the film ones.

Heh ;-) The ones I was thinking of though were Alison the annoying witch practioner (who makes it, if I recall correctly) and the Wiccans who hold some sort of Sabbat/equinox thing in the park which Phoebe attends at the end of an episode.

I'm glad Strahovski is getting some work but she seems a bit young to play Serena Joy. I always pictured her as a forty-something slightly gone to seed blonde who smoked a lot.

Oh I liked Buffy and Angel as well. I ended up liking Angel better though, I thought that show was more complex and ended better and did more with the characters.

Everyone got too powerful which didn't help. One thing I like about the early seasons is they have to go and drive to fight demons sometimes and if they get injured they have to patch themselves up or go to the hospital. This gives the show some pretence of having stakes.
