Deadwood! You hoople head

I feel so weird about this season. I don't think it was one of Mad Mens best, but every time I think about it I loved it. However nothing really happened and there was a lot of retread on old ground but I still liked it…I think.

I think I started episode 1 Wednesday or Thursday and here I am on Sunday having just run through the entire season. It's been awhile since I've had to do that on a drama, maybe not since Breaking Bad. (Not that I'm comparing it to Breaking Bad but it definitely has the same "I NEED THE NEXT EPISODE RIGHT. This by far Hanks best episode, although it's tied for me with his divorce. When Artie gives him the gun and tells him to just kill himself already. Both are just amazing.

I'm pretty sure any scene Gob talks about jesus is the best thing ever. Also quite a great pairing of "HANDCUFF THE KING OF THE JEEWWWWSS!" and "I am not the real JEEEEsus" as two of the best line-reads ever in this show.

Yeah the AV Club is great for shows like AD, it has also unfortunately killed all my spare time because I've found about 50 hidden gems because of this website.

Woah this is genuinely shocking, a fantastic actor no doubt about that. He was intrinsic in the absolute genius of the Sopranos.

Season 3 IS crazy, your tolerance for that kind of stuff will determine how much you enjoy it. By no means is it a bad season and it fits well with the other three (So much joy typing that.) it's just a little crazier than what you've seen before.

Holy shit I JUST got that. I feel so stupid now, all I could think of was "David Spades not a magician…"

Suddenly I want to see a Logans Run remake.

I like Community well enough but I really have to turn my brain off. I guess for a comparison I'll go for Arrested Development. Arrested Development is one of my favourite shows ever by the way but it highlights my issues with Community.

I wouldn't put all my Anns in that basket.

I will say that I watched a bit of the fan cut of the whole season in order. I watched one episode and it was pretty much seasons 1-3 with this material. There's some weird narration and jumpy edits just due to the nature of the project but it's well worth a watch if you're just not feeling the new format.

It's insame!

I thought episodes 2, 6 and 8 were pretty mediocre but when I went back and watched them I found them all 10X funnier.

Holy crap I thought Pete was Gob for a second.

I don't know if I'd say that  but this season is such a different beast. It's a continuation of an old show BUT a completely different style to the old show, thrown at us all at once and letting us consume it as we want.
