I thought he was Rorge until she said he was a Stark man. That was confusing. As long as she didn't kill Biter. He has a present for her.

Yeah it was really weird. Only yesterday I was reading something GRRM said to the comic book illustrator about how to draw them, and I was expecting pretty, shimmering armour. Instead of like, being able to see every string of muscle they contain. He said they resemble the sidhe from scottish/irish mythology, which is

Brynden Bloodraven tells Bran Coldhands has been dead for a very long time, and a very long time for Bloodraven is an extremely long time for everyone else. That could be the thing you're thinking of.
Then again, it could just be a tree trying to reassure a little boy so he stops thinking about it.

Is she young enough? I get the feeling Penny is young enough to swing as Tyrion's daughter and he's only 28.

I'm not a fan of the genre at all. I think fantasy is lame and weird and I didn't even bother watching Lord of the Rings until last year (it was a waste of time anyway but at least I watched them). But Thrones is pretty awesome.

That just doesn't sound like a valid concern for Joffrey to have.

I don't think Bran and Hodor will need to walk so far South. Jojen will probably still be the wizened little omniscient thing, he'll either have seen Bran and Rickon hiding in the crypts and will go in there to get them out, post-burning, or he'll know where to meet up with them on the Kingsroad. It's almost too easy.

The thing is, I feel like Maggie Smith so consistently plays characters that teeter on the edge of 'horribly cruel hard-ass' and 'sweet comforting elderly woman' that the role was basically written for her.

Oh MY GOD, why have I never pictured Cloris Leachman? Amazing.
