Syd not needing Cary to explain anything to her other than what the plan was is one of the sexiest things I've ever seen in a show/movie. I know how that sounds, but badassery is freaking sexy.

So, I watch this with my daughter. Her friends like it and they talk about it in school and whatnot. I raised her on comics so she would learn to love reading, like I did. But to have my girl hopefully think I'm cool just because of a show that her friends like…makes me wanna cry.
I thought she was pretty good on NTSF:SD:SUV and Lady Dynamite.
The only real negative with having other characters that can fight on this show is how quickly they get knocked out. Colleen is able to knock out regular thugs with a couple of punches/kicks, but takes a while to knock out her cage fighters. So, cage fighters are better than the guys who are dedicated henchmen? If…
Where are you guys getting these character names from? Because they sure didn't mention them in show. So, the credits, right? Why give them names if I have to learn them in the credits, which are the things I rarely want to watch.
You're some sort of sadist, huh?
C'mon, friend. The AVClub helped me get that kidney I've always wanted. They also helped me escape the scene of the crime. So please don't disrespect the AVClub. They're saints!
Oh. OH! Seems like ol Mr. Poopy Butthole here knows a better way to kick off the global apocalypse murderscape nightmare than President Trump! Please share! Share with the group!
I totally forgot about the age difference! Thanks for reminding me. It actually does make sense now, Harold making the choice he did. Good catch!
Pretty much every thing you've said sums up why this is such a tough and personal subject. For me, I still freak out thinking about Zoe Saldana playing Nina Simone while wearing a fake nose and having her skin darkened. That's so insane and disrespectful to all the other actresses that, on looks alone, could've…
And every point you made is fair, and right. I couldn't even offer a real argument if I wanted. Again, it's a worthwhile issue to bring up. I'm looking at this from the perspective of a Black male who has seen an overwhelming amount of stereotypical characters created for us by White people. See: Cage, Luke.…
I can't understand the "cultural appreciation" argument, based on the character himself. He was a 10, 12 year old kid who watched his parents die in a plane crash. He was then taken in by inter-dimensional Shaolin Monks, where, for the next 15 years, he was immersed in their culture. He was trained by them to…
You're right, but what I meant was that Harold should've chosen Joy as his proxy in the first place. She seems strong and level headed. Compassionate in some places. I'm really enjoying both characters so far, but wouldn't mind working for Joy.
The Hand hench-ninjas are no more inept and bland than any other group of henchmen.
If Karma was real, I would've suffered long ago for my glug, glug…vrooom, vrooom….thump, thump.
Let's give it 2 years. Then, reboot!
Coupla nightstick blows to the head and neck, boom! Black and blue man! That's diversity, bitches!
**reads post, puts on MAGA hat, finishes off whiskey**
It's like, we didn't shoot him, you liberal fucktards! Crimminy! Can't shoot 'em, can't falsely arrest them, can't even illegally detain them without you left wingers complaining! Won't somebody think of us, the poor, affected, bigots with badges and guns?
…didn't we beat you into submission already?
