70's Bronx. Hip hop started in the Bronx. So, if they're saying that it started in BK, I'm going to doubt the authenticity of this documentary. Pffft. Brooklyn.

I remember my folks taking myself and a couple of friends to watch Superman when it came out. The next day we all sat around at lunch and talked about how cool it would have been if Superman could fight another super-powered bad guy.
It's always the same story, isn't it? Hollywood claims that there aren't enough actors of color to fill the roles designed for actors of color, while making sure that the existing actors of color are exempt from the roles because they're not "marketable."
Hahaha…"now."
That would actually be pretty damn cool. Like, if by the end of Justice League, the heroes became who we wanted them to actually be. They've got the action down, at least in certain areas (the Batman warehouse scene, and the MoS fights), and they've got cool looking costumes.
Wait till you see my crudely drawn picture of what's happening under the desk. It'll horrify you into a coma!

Hopefully, the fun vibe is why WB is trying to bring Vaughn on. I still think Superman should be a fun character, without the angst about having powers and being able to help people.
…brought to you by Carl's Jr. We've ALL got mouths to feed, damnit!
You want an ear? I can get you an ear. Believe me. I can get you an ear by 3pm today.
Those are video games. Pretty much every person in the world thinks that video game adaptations suck, will suck, and have forever sucked. I even gave that Double Dragon movie a chance on a date, and we were both baked enough to enjoy anything, except that. Ahhh…College days.
Again, I agree with you about the financial obligations of the studio. I also agree that it'll probably bring in Scarlett Johansson fans.
Guys! I just got this fuckin sweet katana off Ebay, baby! I'm Jubei Kibagami, bitches! Woooooooo!!
I would be more upset if this were happening to an actual person. Like, somebody that actually existed and was Asian, Black, Latino, White, having their race changed. That being said, I get and agree with the people that are upset by this. Just like I would understand anybody that's white not seeing this as a…
The best part of this movie will be the debates it encourages.
Yeah, Great Wall seemed to be a bit of internet overreaction, or applying a real problem incorrectly. The only reason I have a problem with this, aside from the fact it never needed to get made, is simply that this entire conversation didn't need to happen. They could have simply cast an Asian actress. If it was a…
It's an American movie based on a Japanese Manga. Which takes place in Japan. The original character is Motoko Kusanagi. So, I think we can both agree that, based on the premise, the claims of whitewashing are at least warranted.
Throw out the change from her being Motoko, to her simply being the Major, ok? The change they're apparently making of having her being unwittingly subjected to being cybernized kind of flies in the face of everything the original GITS ever implied.
Good for you! You finally kicked that nasty PCP habit, huh? You're going to start sharing with the rest of us now, yes?
Jesus, Canada. Humility? Integrity? With that attitude, you're never going to elect an unqualified reality tv star to Prime Minister.
