Did anyone else
Flat out fucking love the omens? The kids suddenly fighting, the bird at the window.

Dylan is the STEVE HOLT! of this show—you immediately dislike him and then realize he's just an idiot and forgive a lot of his douche-baggery.

SPHERE is that one where Samuel L. Jackson dreams of an octopus and then an octopus attacks them right? And the end of the movie (spoilers again) the three of them, basically, wish the sphere away and it flies into space, or something? God, what a stupid movie.

Alien life at the bottom of the ocean
That was a reference to SPHERE, right? With Barney as Dustin Hoffman and Robin as Sharon Stone? What a random, awesome reference to make.

Tim Minear
wrote this episode. Which means the cold hand of the Tim Reaper can't be far behind.

Is that
girl in the video the new secretary in THE OFFICE? It looks remarkably like her.

Good for you
Retiring that line is a good move. Not that it was bad. But just that it confused me. Because I'm stupid.

I have already.

Bazinga!
The "bad Leonard" spray bottle was priceless.

Prediction
Miracle Laurie will be imprinted as the new Dr. Saunders. (Also, I agree entirely with Scott's "mmm" assessment of Laurie.)

While I loved this episode
Did anyone else feel that the plot of this ep had been covered in the one where Michael tried to go all Survivor Man? Jim tried to do something unpopular then and ended up with a greater understanding/sympathy for Michael. This episode had the same idea. This isn't necessarily a bad thing

Did anyone else find the random "Courtney B. Vance was POOPING!" scene to be totally out-of-place? Vance is a brilliant actor, and, really, that's what you're gonna use him for? Hope that Vance's flash forward will have more impact (do find it curious that he was reading the sports page at 10 p.m. and was in the

Respectfully disagree. Serialized shows are not something random and inexplicable — it just takes solid writing. FLASHFORWARD's writing, so far, has been mediocre at best. It's strength lies in its plot and its weakness is its characters. Now, hopefully the characters will improve. In much the same way that

The first time I heard about this movie
Was back when Bravo was still trying to be a basic-cable Sundance channel. They had this documentary show called, I think, Bravo Profiles. They looked back on the Coen brothers flicks and I remember the baritone-narrator came to this one and simply quoted one of the

hey
at least they all have smeyes.

It's interesting
I haven't seen a comments section this active since that Sasha Grey interview. That's revealing of something although I'm not sure what.

How is it that Tom Cavanaugh pops up in everything but Josh Charles lingers in TV limbo for ages?

Has potential
I agree with Todd. While the opening felt very charged, the tone felt erratic until she visited Noth in jail. After that it struck a better balance between character and story. Worth watching again.

So I have three hours to kill
Should I watch BILL AND TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE or MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE III?

Isn't Todd VanDerWerff is an LA guy? Come to the coast! Where, y'know, there's sun and fun and you can meet the entire cast of any REAL HOUSEWIVES iteration at every Starbucks!
