She's gonna haul ass to Lollapalooza.

Zen is bad for reasons beyond the accents, at least.

Savvy Indian chewing tobacco.  It's not just for Indians.

One of those times when my reaction was exactly the same as Bob's.  Just, "Oh, wow."

Hey Dude's poor cousin, Ahoy Dude.

Those are really nice sunglasses.  Are they government issue, or do you guys all go to the same store?

What makes baseball unique among American sports, to me anyway, is that there's no clock.  I don't like sports where a team can jump to an early lead and then stall, slow tempo, play conservatively, or whatever else falls under "clock management".  It's like they've decided not to play the sport as well as they could.

I maintain that hating (as opposed to being indifferent to) the Princess Bride doesn't automatically make someone a bad person.  It does mean that they're incapable of deriving joy from moving pictures, however, so one has to take that into account when dealing with them.

I find the strongest argument in favor of that movie is to watch the Alec Guinness version.  When you see what the Coens managed to do with the source material, it makes you respect their version a lot more.

Fascist pig square's nest.
