So alone!
So alone!
I believe "Our Man in Havana" proved that conclusively.
@avclub-a1967e6de4ca99fb2635d94b99453928:disqus I interpreted Theo's expression as a warning look. He didn't want Sheridan to go all wacky and ruin the monk that would be Edward's legacy.
Sheridan is the one who asked the questions. Theo provided Sheridan an opportunity to find the answers. I don't say it wasn't an ill-advised thing to do, but it wasn't mean-spirited. Quite the opposite.
The horrified look and the body language that Sheridan uses all through his introduction to "Brother Malcolm" is some of the best acting the show produced. I especially like his instinctual recoiling from Malcolm's offered hand. It may even be top five, if we restrict the list to human characters.
Everything on this table is a bag. We've got iced-coffee-bag, Prada bag, bag bag, ho-bag….
I almost went with Paul F Tompkins.
I would say it's been okay since 1729, which even the most permissive comedian would probably describe as "Swift".
I'm always fascinated by how driven people deal with age or injury. For all Arnold's many faults, he is unquestionably a very driven person. There's no financial or social reason for him to make action movies anymore. It would be sad if it's greed, it might be pride, but I usually come to the conclusion that people…
I'm sure that it is, but the basic concept was used pretty well in Person of Interest.
"If my books had been any worse, I should not have been invited to Hollywood, and if they had been any better, I should not have come." -Raymond Chandler
We need a snappy, old school workplace comedy set at the Daily Planet. Sort of a His Girl Friday, but Lois Lane doing the Carey Grant part.
I thought Superman was flying so fast that he, and he alone, moved backward in time. The planet below only appeared to be moving backwards from his perspective. Something something relativistic physics handwave.
It's good stuff.
Don't forget chewing thoughtfully on the ends while contemplating a three-pipe problem.
That's actually Alfred Hitchcock.
My glasses magnify my gaze perceptibly. Perhaps I'm enhancing my lovely eyes. Or I look like a mole-man. Or Hans Moleman.
Now I'm picturing a mashup of She's All That and the Twilight Zone episode "Eye of the Beholder". It is a thing most amusing to me.
@avclub-6ffc79f9decf633c29b09e6c25621195:disqus Even Captain Poirot and Admiral Master Control let me down. The opening titles were cool, at least.
When the cast of a feature film is inferior to the cast of its video game source material, you're gonna have a bad time.
