Breakdown! I remember loving that movie. It was one of those horror movies that could actually happen to you. For whatever reason I also remember the opening credits being impressive in a time before anyone cared.
Thanks!
Rudy was the guy who could fling stuff. At the end of the first episode, he's the guy that flings boulders, cars, bad guys around during the escape. It took me this episode to actually figure out his power. His blood dripped up, so he's not telekinetic. He tweaks the direction of gravity.
You know, I still watch those. There's a certain, entertaining gloatiness to them that never, ever gets old.
Yup same here. He's 64 though, maybe that's it.
Yeah everyone is being pretty merciless to this show. Forbes.com was particularly ruthless
"A sexy sexpot with the power of sultriness" - the ultimate power! Reminds me of a comment I saw somewhere about how sexpots like Emma Frost and Selene are drawn in Marvel comics… "Why do they give mind control powers to women that need it the least?"
People are afraid of odd things. I have a pair of 18 lb dachshunds that you'd think are hounds from hell. Seriously, grown people run off screaming bloody murder. Run away from a dog that's 8 inches tall with a Napoleon complex and you will be chased and barked at. I feel bad laughing but I can't really help it.
I thought people only went to Radio Shack to buy those little quarter-sized batteries that power your garage door opener. It takes like 5 years for those to run out so no big surprise there.
Is he in every Tarantino movie? He mentions he wasn't in Death Proof but he also wasn't in Reservoir Dogs… sort of.
Great review except for the lack of Trump allegories.
Ah, but is she a witch? Has she denied it yet?
For a fleeting moment I thought that it actually was Liev Schreiber when X-24 came out. They do look very similar.
I think they're rebooting the MILF Hunter series.
I hope they bring the kid back from the original movie. Or at least have a kid in the new one. Kid sidekicks are always good in anti-hero movies.

Vampirella/Red Sonya crossover… so to speak.
Spiral… I want to see Spiral do something R-rated.
