Same here. They never strike me as funny and always feel more like they're reaching so hard to criticize stuff that they're willing to lie or mischaracterize stuff in order to be critical. That drives me nuts.

I loved this movie. So much dread. The ending was fucking phenomenal.

I dunno. Polygon gave the film a surprisingly high review, and while they aren't hardcore film-reviewers they are approaching it with the PTSD of past video game adaptions in-tow. I suspect this film is actually better than most reviewers will give it credit for, simply because of it's source material genre.

Still no idea why Reznor/Ross scored this but I'm listening to the soundtrack right now and it's fucking fantastic (I mean, of course it is). It's honestly good enough to make me see a movie I have zero interest in seeing for a variety of reasons.

I'm eagerly awaiting season 2, starring Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn.

Goddamn it. Why is Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross scoring this piece of shit? That trailer is fucking terrible. I'm praying there's something going on here in the script that Reznor and Ross saw that we aren't seeing in these trailers.
