Here's my unsolicited review of the AV Club comments section of the Girls episode "Female Author"

Seriously… Brian let us know when you can write two songs that don't sound exactly the same and/or sound like poppy Bruce Springsteen.

I completely agree. I really like this show despite ALL of it's logic flaws. And they HAVE been that there all along. You have to suspend disbelief to truly enjoy the show. It was always possible to pick apart the story telling. But if you just sit back and enjoy… it's an entertaining show — some good dialogue…

What he really wanted to say was… "Scarlett Johansson's tits are just way too big for the role." But took the high road and said "hot" instead.

Well this for me is an AV Club first! An actual discussion about the merits of the television show reviewed! Not just a bunch of smart-ass comments and people commenting on those smart-ass comments.

What would the movie Rudy been like if he gave up after only two tries? It would have been a lot shorter that's for sure… and funnier. But it wouldn't have been as good. I would have still watched it though.
