Agreed. Like, that moment (spoiler) in S6 when she randomly separates from her husband because she thinks she'll be a terrible mother again was pretty consistent with everything we heard about her before her first appearance.
Getting to know her just helps us understand her behavior without excusing it, which is cool.

That's a favorite moment of mine, and a real cute gif.

What I love about Rory and Jess in NY is that Jess isn't nearly surprised enough to see her, so he totally knew what he was doing when he floated the name of the place he hangs out, he's just flattered and impressed she actually had the balls to take him up on it. It's such a clear, unspoken exchanging of feelings,

It can be great to write in margins. I re-read my favorite books and can see and remember everything they made me feel the first time, or consider my thoughts now as opposed to when I was younger. It's interesting, and it's nice to have books that are thoroughly yours

Yeah, that's exactly what makes me think she was way harsh on Jess. Even she could have had that accident with Rory in the car, she should know that.

I don't know about best but I'd nominate his hysterical screaming naked sleepwalk through the Dragonfly as pretty memorable

"Turn right…" "As you wish."
Swoon.

She did get locked in that stabby box that one time… but still!

Totally agree, it was heart-wrenching and beautiful. You can read everything she wants to say in her face and the way she breathes. It's amazing to see an actress who can communicate that level of emotion without the usual hysterical sobbing and tears streaming down their face

Ugh, my heart. That was a horrible experience, but fucking fantastic television.

See, I get Jess being an asshole about being in Stars Hollow. 16/17 year old me would probably behave the same way in his position.

I took the "Deb" voiceover as him surprised to see her smiling and showered and looking like herself again, like she's recognizably Deb after being a shell of herself for so long

Sure, it's not perfect, but I mean, "in a desperate attempt to fill Mindy Kaling’s medical practice with any sort of personality" - that's harsh as fuck. One thing I'd say the show does have going for it is at least two or three fun or certainly distinct personalities in the office. This article is just unnecessarily

Man, you guys are harsh on Mindy.

That's what I've been thinking, they have too many balls in the air. So we're either thoroughly confused or sitting through over the top exposition that only half explains anything

Boyd's death is a stray observation? I'm sure he'd be honored

I feel like they would never unless Alexander wanted to leave. I mean, I can see killing someone beloved just for the heartache but I genuinely can't imagine the show without him at this point

See, I appreciate a good twist. The problem with the last two seasons was the twists were every goddamn episode. But they can be used well, in my opinion. And wouldn't a crime show be hell boring without at least one or two viable suspects explored throughout a case?

I think it does too, and I was a little disappointed that this review didn't explain why the grade was low, just mostly recapped.

I've come to the conclusion that this show has no fucking idea what it's doing anymore. Who is A? Whoever is most convenient by season 8
