Sideshow Bob runs for Mayor, anybody?

I think Clark pitching Cooper as a solo artist was done as an audience fake-out based on our knowledge of music history - so we wouldn't see the punchline coming.

Yeah that was what I heard - Pete teasing his girlfriend about having already found her way to Mr. Handsome's office. Pete was happy to see Don and that remark was the opposite of a snarl - it was charm.

What the hell, A.V. Club? This is a reasonable enough piece and maybe the show is in fact dead. But it's been THREE DAYS…why are you hitting us over the head with "just accept it and enjoy your memories" when you - of all the publications in all the world - ought to be rallying for six seasons and a movie?

Glenn Quinn - Doyle on Angel.

I know A.V. Club dropped weekly coverage of Nashville but could you give readers a heads-up on new episodes under "What Else is On?"

I was born in '81 and only ever saw a handful of episode of Diff'rent Strokes some years later (when I was 8 or 9, I think) in afternoon syndication. As a fan of good scripted television, I'm sure that it was a pretty bad series creatively and that the criticisms of this episode (and of most "very special" episodes)

Is Lydia squeamish or was covering her eyes a laughable attempt to claim plausible deniability?

We still have two more episodes this season. Maybe Bob Benson was a red herring (which would be very much like Mad Men) and his sexual orientation was the littlest of big reveals (turning all of that sizzle into a wet fart, as Roger would say), and maybe not. I think it's premature to draw a conclusion.

It's also available on Amazon Instant Video and free to stream for Prime members.

Watching this episode, I felt for the first time this season like I was watching Community Classic. I agree the tag was pretty lame but it didn't ruin the episode for me. And conversely, I felt (no pun intended) the puppet episode was by far the season's weakest. I've been intrigued by the lack of critical (and fan)

Tonight's appearance by Chelan Simmons reprising her character from Wonderfalls represented not only a crossover in the Fullerverse but also a mini-reunion for The L.A. Complex which featured her and Aaron Abrams.

Zero nominations for Terence Davies' adaptation of The Deep Blue Sea - a beautiful masterpiece. It's on Netflix for those who haven't caught it yet.

For sure - what a great dramatic moment.

Wow Todd, this episode made a very different impression on me.

Thanks for helping readers rediscover this quirky gem. About two years ago, I randomly remembered having seen it as a child and went looking for it, turning to a torrent as it's unavailable commercially, and was surprised with how much I still enjoyed it. Taylor is great and it's definitely David Hyde Pierce's
