I'm sure most of that cash went straight back to the church, though. It counts.

I'm guessing that it wasn't an Emmy reference and that that show was chosen because Billy Gardell is a Greg Garcia favorite. An Emmy joke might have made sense last year after Plimpton lost, but singling out one actress in a crowded field because you're irritated that your star wasn't even nominated seems sloppy and a

I still can't watch that fire scene. I'm pretty sure I haven't looked directly at the screen while it was on since the actual episode aired. In my head, all I see are Nick and Elisabeth looking stunned. That's how horrifying it is: my brain chooses to show me Elisabeth as a happy alternative.

@avclub-226982ab9123047f22996f01ae642335:disqus I think age has always been a little bit of a factor in the way Penner plays and the way he ultimately irritates people. He's always the old guy. Even when he *wasn't* the old guy he was still old for this show. And while he keeps getting older, the people in his tribe

I agree that he was creepier. I think the only reason I wouldn't want him to be the last big bad is because, as evil and creepy as he was, his level of evil didn't make me actively angry. I was with the kid last night with his whole "shoot him, shoot him!" because I wanted Stroh dead. Maybe it's because there was some

I'm from Atlanta and even though there is no real, consistent accent in this city I've still never heard anybody that sounds quite like she does. But, I give her credit for improvement since the first season was really, really horrible. The later seasons didn't really bug me that much. It was the way that Brenda Leigh

O'Mara wasn't a rapist, was he? I don't think he was alleged to have raped the women, he was in relationships with them (or they were hookups) and he murdered them. His kink was arson, not rape.

I honestly can't remember what happened in the tv movies (or if they're even relevant) but I'm pretty sure they didn't kill Pam off. They did the "horrible, disfiguring car accident" thing and then she was back and then I think she was sick and then…nothing. If they could convince Victoria Principle to be on the show,

Well, if it's any consolation, I enjoyed it. It was the House review earlier in the week that I found perplexing, not this one. Although I think that just giving Jessica's weird little mentor friend one line wasn't enough because as excited as he was about that car, seeing him looking all Edith Ann on that couch was

Yeah, pretty much everyone is my household simultaneously said "ohhhhhh…okay" when that was revealed. It cleared up so much.

A Phillip/Skylar finale (or anybody/Skylar) would have been interesting. I think she's the only person out there who could have beaten Phillip and, yet, gone before Hollie or Jessica. That's a strange little twist. I'm not 100% convinced that the CCR song did her in the way that the Gaga evidently did in Colton, but I
