Great, except the episode was called "Basketsball" ;)

I agree. It's cliche after cliche!! She tried to kill herself, she's boy crazy, and OMG what was that scene in the laundry room with the sheets on the floor? EYES ROLLED

I don't think you can even compare these two shows. Shameless's core is family relationships, about how you love each other no matter what and how that can suck when the people around you suck. It shows a family trying to survive, to get by, to feed themselves and not die. Life, that way, is sad with moments of

Please someone help me with this. The FBI is more interested in a crazy old lawyer, an agent and his quiet sidekick than in an BOSTON MOB BOSS/COLD BLOODED KILLER? Am I missing something here? Some please explain.

I think nobody knew Morgan had a vest on. That's why it was so astonishing for Carl to pull the trigger that easily, it would've been the first time killing a man, not a walker. Great writing! Loved this episode.

Even though this episode was silly and predictable, it still shows that this show has strengths and will probably grow throughout the season. I love that it's supposedly fluff and silly, but if you look into it, it's dealing with big and serious issues: loss of parent, single parenting, drug use, class issues. I'm

Ha!! True. I'm very embarrassed of having committed such a gaffe. Glad I have other fans here to correct me!! and Captain Dada, for sure a rookie mistake, but the episode was awesome enough that we forgive it. Am I right?

I thought this episode was great for many reasons, but the best one being what gave it its title: "Boys". It was great to be reminded that, although we tend to put Ray and Adam in the same "weirdo guys who don't have it together" box, they're actually more different than we would think, and more the same but in ways

Wait… Ron Swason watched "Deer Hunter" in that episode where Leslie plans his "surprise party"… So… 4 movies?

!

No comments of Brody yelling "NAZIR! NAZIR" on his phone while near Secret Service agents? It's like someone yelling "BIN LADEN! OSAMA, please!" in public. Fail.

AJ, LOVED your analysis!! AV Club, maybe you have a potential reviewer here? :)

Hi Tommy! Loved your response!! As far as character "likability", I'm all with you. I think Sarah is bold and follows her dreams, making mistakes in the way. But she does make bad choices, and we both agree with that. What I like about this show is how consistent the characters are even though they go through changes.

Sarah Braverman just sucks at life. She only makes BAD choices regarding her personal life. Since I've accepted that, I don't cringe every single time she does something stupid which is, frankly, every episode. But that's a good thing! People are like that "in real life"…
