The more time that passes, the more delighted I am by how well a lot of the post-Eno Roxy records hold up. Avalon is tremendous. And I'm not sure how kind time has been to Manifesto, but I find myself spinning that record more than their others.

For me, its the opposite
I find myself more and more taking refuge in songs that are simply a pleasure to listen to. And more specifically, pop songs that I'm very familiar with. In recent months, my speakers have blasted a lot of ELO, Styx, and The Beatles.

My copy of The Toy also had the original Star Wars and, of all things, Schrader's "remake" of Cat People (which I wasn't allowed to watch).
