Didn't Mann play John Lithgow's second, trophy wife in "Orange County"?  If so, they had a good rapport, and I just remembered I actually really enjoy that movie.

Minor quibble, but in 'About Schmidt' Nicholson is a retired Actuary, not an insurance salesman.  Nothing against the latter, but it is quite a difficult process to become an Actuary, and referring to them as "Insurance Salesmen" is incorrect.

I mean no offense if someone takes this the wrong way, but is depression too slippery to be considered "dying", so that people who ended up taking their own lives can't retroactively be considered "dying" during their last creative forays, e.g. Ian Curtis during "Closer" or DFW during "The Pale King"?
