Show them Point Break and take them through the Hall of Presidents.

bummer

Haven't seen the illusionist, so I can't say if it's better than Toy Story 3, but to say that the latter is bullshit is kind of ridiculous. Obviously the third part of a series is going to be "reheated" to a degree, but if you weren't grinning at the security monkey or moved the by the incinerator portion, then, I

Ziggy, back at the complaint department:
The New Yorker is stealing my jokes.

Agreed on Pearl Harbor. The planes going by as the kid delivers the pitch on the baseball field is so epic, I was unbelievably excited for that movie. If there's an Inventory about the discrepancy between quality of trailer and movie, Pearl Harbor would be a major contender.

Did Stone come up with the title for Natural Born Killers or was that Tarantino?

She's devleloped quite the nerf-herder complex.

Will he be named Max?
You know, like that movie he was in?

It definitely picked up in the last few episodes of the first season. Once they did what should have seemed obvious, pairing Danson and Galafianakis (sp?), it was pretty entertaining. If the 2nd season is more of their worlds being merged I think it'll be fun.

Also, the guy who played little John has now been in 3 movies I can think of with Russell Crowe (Mysetery, Alaska, 3:10 to Yuma and Robin Hood). That's going beyond coincidence, right? I'm assuming after Mystery, Alaska, Crowe is vouching for him once he's been cast in these and they need to flesh out the other

I got a hearty laugh out of the final battle when, at one point, Robin and friends are at the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea then, literally, the next shot they're down on the beach with the rest of their army. I'm fine with suspending narrative belief for a Robin Hood movie, but at least try and be a little

Wasn't Scorsese rumored to have been in line to direct DT but went with Goodfella's instead? Pretty interesting that he narrowly avoided having to deal with Madonna.

John Turturro

"Surprisingly tolerable"!? Cage is epic in that movie, even haters have to agree. I know what you said is more or less a compliment, but he realistically played twins with enough personal and physical distinctions to make them both fully fleshed out, and that story about Sarah Marsh as the end in the swamp? That's

Proboscis means nose
I know what Proboscis means

Do you mean the Ice Harvest?

Almost as hard as if Neko Case had been playing?

Oh like anyone has a Jeremy Davies impression.

I wonder if
I can fill the void left by My Boys with another awful-looking sitcom destined for canceled-ville.

I've just been getting into Malick lately. Badlands a few months ago, Thin Red Line 2 weeks ago. New World and Days of Heaven are on the netflix docket, any suggestions as to which to go after first?
